The Dredge Utility Craft has been designed as a self loading, self launching, self propelling waterborne craft keeping in mind the emerging requirement to desilt/dredge canals, waterways, drains and other shallow waterbodies such as ponds/lakes. DUC is capable of dredging upto a depth of 4.5m even in locations, which are not accessible by any other mode except by water. The craft has been designed and built to the marine specification, and to meet the stability and safety requirements.
